YHT GIRLS
The YHT Girls Soccer Team capped off an incredible season by becoming undefeated champions, showcasing determination, teamwork, and skill every time they stepped onto the field.
Leading the charge was team captain Maytal Yaghoubi, whose leadership and scoring ability set the tone for the team’s success all season long. As the team’s striker, Maytal consistently found ways to create scoring opportunities and inspire her teammates through her hard work and dedication.
On the defensive end, Naama Loloi and Shirel Hakimi formed a formidable back line. Their strong communication, relentless effort, and ability to shut down opposing attacks played a crucial role in preserving the team’s undefeated record. Time and time again, they stepped up in key moments to keep opponents off the scoreboard.
Behind the defense stood goalkeeper Adina Koren, whose outstanding saves helped the team stay in countless games. Adina’s quick reflexes, confidence, and composure under pressure provided the team with a dependable last line of defense and gave her teammates the confidence to play their game.
While individual performances stood out throughout the season, this championship was truly the result of a complete team effort. Every player contributed to the team’s success through hard work, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to one another.
Finishing the season undefeated is an extraordinary accomplishment, and this group of athletes should be incredibly proud of all they achieved. Their championship run will be remembered as a season defined by teamwork, resilience, and excellence.
Congratulations to the YHT Girls Soccer Team on an unforgettable season and a well-deserved championship!
YHT BOYS
The Yeshiva Har Torah Boys Soccer Team delivered a season to remember, completing an undefeated campaign and earning the league championship through outstanding play, determination, and teamwork.
From the opening whistle of the season to the final championship match, the team consistently rose to every challenge. Their success was fueled by strong leadership from captain Ari Kutsher, who led by example with his effort, sportsmanship, and commitment to the team. Ari’s presence on the field helped keep the team focused and motivated throughout their championship run.
A major factor in the team’s success was its defensive strength, anchored by eighth grader Elisha Goldstein. Time and again, Elisha stepped up in critical moments, shutting down opposing attacks and providing the stability the team needed at the back. His toughness, awareness, and relentless work ethic helped make the YHT defense one of the league’s best.
What made this team special was the way every player embraced their role. Whether scoring goals, creating opportunities, making defensive stops, or encouraging teammates from the sidelines, each member of the squad played an important part in the team’s achievements.
An undefeated season is a rare accomplishment and a testament to the hard work these student-athletes put in throughout the year. Their championship victory reflects not only their talent, but also the character, unity, and perseverance they displayed all season long.
